Cort does True Temperament

Here’s some interesting news: Cort is now making True Temperament guitars. The down side is that they’re $2,499 so it’s less expensive to put a True Temperament neck on a stratocaster. I guess it’s good news for the three people playing Indian classical music on electric guitar. There’s still no bass necks on the market so you probably can’t use one in a band with a bass player.

Those frets are obviously defective. They're bent all to hell. I expect a discount.

Actually....Roine Stolt (Flower Kings, Transatlantic and various other prog projects) has been using True Temperament frets on his main guitar which is a Thinline Tele for years now. Plenty of bluesy bends there.

Hey can you link some examples? I've looked but found nothing but him playing regular guitars. cool player though...I like his stuff.

Here's a clip from the last Transatlantic live DVD - that red Tele has the True Temperament frets. Hard to spot it in the video, but I've seen it up close at a Flower Kings concert a couple of years back.
