Buckleless belts, you guys ever use 'em?

I bought one a couple of years ago, as at the factory I work at our customers (the big 3) wanted to eliminate random scratches fro belt buckles, rings, watches, etc.

But being from Texas and currently living in Tennessee, it's hard for me to imagine wearing a belt without a buckle. It's the most important part!

If you're worried about buckle rash on yer guitars, just pull them around to the side, like Jimmie Vaughan does. Can't find a photo, but it was the first thing I noticed when I met him.

There are other brands too. I think I got mine from amazon, from a company that specializes in law enforcement gear. It's kinda got that military/cop look to it, but just a big velcro fastener.

I figured more guitarists would use 'em, since they won't scratch the back of a guitar.

I'm in-between sizes. 32's are a bit tight, though I can wear 'em fine, and 34's are too loose. And you never see 33's in the stores.

Was more of a joke though, but I haven't worn a belt in probably a decade (outside of work, when I have to use one because of the uniform).
Then again, I've luckily only gone up one size in 15 years or so.

Those buckle-less belts just don't look right to me. I've never had much problem with buckle rash over the last 40+ years, so I'll stick with my regular belt. Of course, I don't wear belts with cowboy buckles.
