Description: This is the guitar for the "Vintage Nerd". 50th Anniversary Casino Tremotone. The Casino was introduced in 1961, and the '61 model had features that were not available on later models. Epiphone has gone to great lengths to make this guitar as close as possible to the original '61 model. Most notably, the pre-Gibson era metal logo badge on the headstock, but also the blank Bullet® trussrod cover, tortoise pickguard, Black dog-eared Gibson P-90s, Switchcraft 3-way and jack, etc. And let's not forget the era-correct Gray/Blue Case. Epiphone's attention to detail on this guitar is nothing short of amazing. Also includes a certificate of authenticity.

$849

I like it, but the trem looks like something from a Teisco-type '60's era guitar. Crazy!

I played a Wilshire the other day with the same trem. I was impressed...not cheap at all. Quite substantial.
The metal headstock plate is pure win. I love em so much I bought a guitar that has one.

Cool looking guitar, but I'd need to play it first. I'm not a big Epiphone fan - unless it is a MIJ model, but those are usually more expensive.

That would be killer if the trem was as good as a Bigsby. I've never tried one like that before and I thought it was like the shitty ones you used to see on SG's

ah, the bent plate vibrato. those stand no chance of going back to zero because there's no springs in them. the one on the Casino has a bigsby-like spring in it.
