i remember back in Jr. High (i think) my dad had his Mark III in for service and he was given a white Mark II as a loaner (he was friends with the dealership owner) and those things are freakin' tanks!! the doors alone are like a hundred pounds each. really, not kidding.

I remember the SAABs like the green one. They were quite common in Scandinavia well into the late '80s. I believe they were very well built.
