If fans are willing to pay big ticket prices to attend a live concert and spend most of the time on their phones, more power to them. As for me, personally, if I spend most of a concert on my phone, that means it was not a very good show.
With my wife being a Swifty... I see that one reason they live-stream every single show is because every night she does two "suprise songs" on acoustic guitar, and two more on piano. Every show the people streaming at home would play a game where they've guessed which outfit she will wear on different eras, which guitar, and then which surprise songs. Kind of an interesting way of following along at home.
That show was was mostly bought out by resellers and many people paid thousands of dollars for tickets. And they were fucking with their phones the whole time. What a bunch of assholes.
To me that indicates a lot of people experiencing a concert through the screen of their cellphones so they can share it to people who will hit the like button without watching it.
I’ve been seeing a few articles about how everyone is exhausted after the Eros tour has finished. Imagine how the guys from Ministry felt when they got home from touring.
