I don't know if this has been showing up for any of you guys either, but I finally was like OK I'll watch it, I don't know what in the eyes wide shut David Lynch fuck I'm watching, but you can't deny that these cats is fucking good. Especially if you like looper stuff

I like it too.

Angina Pectoris.
Chest pain??

I’ll admit that the first song was tough to get through, but maybe i spent too much time wondering WTF is this? It might be too weird for me.

Stick it out. It builds to something fun.

The other three songs are absolute bangers right out of the gate. Fun.

They’re no White Stripes though….. because, polka dots.

Interesting stuff.

The thing about loopers is it takes away form the improvisational aspect of music. Its like having a member of the band who plays with a lot of precision but doesn't listen very well. For better or worse this is a thing. For me it's usually worse. Those guys are good though, Well rehearsed and sufficiently dorky.

Yeah, that video started showing up everywhere.

I admire their dedication to the Concept, but the microtonal noodling isn't something I want listen to much.

This stuff showed up for me a few days ago. I watched simply for the costumes, but I dug it immediately. It’s not something that should appeal to me at all, but I really like it.

It’s a cool use of technology and the costumes might make it seem weirder than it is.
Agreed. I thought it was cool for a while, but lost interest after a few minutes. Guys are definitely talented and have some good grooves. :thu:

A full band, or even just a bass player, would go a long way to making this more engaging than a looper. Pretty much the same beef I have with Buckethead. Amazing player, but lack of band chemistry makes it get redundant fast.
