Tell me what to get. Pickups for Telecaster. up to $300 UPDATE: SD Antiquity II PU's installed!

My personal favorite Tele bridge pickup is the DiMarzio Twang King. I’ve got one in a Tele with a Rio Grande vintage Tallboy in the bridge and it’s a wonderful combo. My other Tele has a Fender custom shop Broadcaster bridge and a Texas special neck. I’ve never felt the need to swap out and those guitars have been the same for at least 25 years.

Finally had the Antiquity II pickups installed. They showed up just before Christmas

THAT's the sound I was looking for. Finally have this guitar finished. I first saw it at a pawn shop literally 10 years ago. I liked the color and the neck profile. This guitar went against my silly notion that Fenders need maple finger boards only . It hung there for years because the price was stupid high. I bought it sometime before COVID I think.
I paid $100 for the guitar, $200 for the case and $300 for the pickups. Somehow it all adds up.

Anyway... this thing plays and sounds fantastic. I didn't NEED a Telecaster. Now I'm looking for another but I'm in no hurry.

I came in here to recommend a set of Klein pickups, but I just found out a few minutes ago that Chris Klein died in March. I've owned four sets of his pickups and both of my Telecasters are still equipped with Kleins (a Nocaster set and a '52 set) and they're just wonderful. Once they were installed I've never wanted something different.

I'm glad to hear the Antiquities are a good fit!
