Newsflash! OK, so, you know I might be wrong, but I'm gonna say it anyway: Bill Withers is flat on "Lovely Day"

I never really liked that song because I found the long drawn out notes annoying. Maybe because he's flat

Give me something to watch on Netflix

Mickey 17 is a lot better than the reviews would have you believe. Gilliamesque satire, I enjoyed it.

    Val Kilmer Passed Away

Divisive then I guess. A lot of people don't like that movie. But yeah, I find it hard to split his Jim from the actual Jim in my head.

    Val Kilmer Passed Away

Unpopular opinion but The Doors was a great movie and he was terrific in it as Jim Morrison. RIP.

Major or minor? Do you have a bias?

Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

Ouch. Dislocated elbow sounds very painful. I also cracked a rib once, and yeah, was able to keep going. I'm mostly recovered and back home but missed out on 3 days of perfect conditions. Ah well, comes with the territory.

Return to the Planet of the "Hey Euro's its that time again" Thread.

On my annual snowboarding trip and managed to dislocate my shoulder. Luckily I was able to pop it right back in and I have pretty full movement but it's still pretty painful. Will just have to spend the remaining holiday drinking in the mountain restaurants. Ah well :o @ColourofFire didn't you...

Anybody watching Severance on Apple TV?

    Triumph Over Home Theater

For better or worse this is a Sonos house. Works and sounds great. Well worked great until they fucked up the app catastrophicly last year but it's mostly fixed now. And for Kodi or Plex, a Firecube is about a hundred bucks and will decode everything.

Coming back from a Rangers game is indeed horrendous :o It's been a weirdly calm, mild and fairly bright day in London. Hope the dug wisnae too freaked oot.

    R.I.P. David Lynch

Twin Peaks hit me at exactly the right time. I was absolutely riveted by it and it really broadened my teenage mind in all sorts of ways. RIP.

Give me something to watch on Netflix

Yeah, its fun at the moment as I can fly through them but I'm not looking forward to catching up and having to wait a week. Those cliffhangers are killer! I literally shouted 'you motherfuckers' at the screen the other day when an episode ended on a massive cliffhanger :bigg:

Give me something to watch on Netflix

I too have just started The Traitors but gone back to season one. I also normally avoid non-scripted stuff but this show is great, really addictive. My plan is to burn through the first two seasons in a few weeks and be caught up with the 3rd one just as it reaches its climax. At the rate I'm...

Give me something to watch on Netflix

Finally got round to watching Zone of Interest and Anatomy of a Fall recently. Both really well written and acted dramas. They both won a ton of awards. Neither is a light watch but Zone of Interest in particular is a must watch. Even Spielberg said it's the most important and best Holocaust...
