I've never used safelite but I have used more than one auto glass shop. There are independent shops that will do on-site work too. I always prefer dealing with a local small business than a franchise, in most cases.

what are you trying to gain :rimshot with the pedals? Get something in between the amps clean and gain channels or alter the high gain channel? I've done both over the years and didn't really have too many issues once you figure out what pedals work for your use case and the limit of how much is...

IDK, there's prob several factors on that price, including but not limited to the fact you have probably the highest power rated guitar speaker in production ATM by 50W, it's made in the USA, and the target market prob isn't too large. You could make yourself an 800W passive speaker from one...
