I think the internet has just changed a lot. When I first got into Harmony Central and then MWGL, socializing on the internet was mostly about visiting disparate forums. Now that Reddit, FB, Discord, Youtube, etc users are churning out so much interaction, I would bet that there's just a lot...

I've never cared for it, and I'm a pretty big fan of marinated chicken in general. My South African wife and in-laws have great memories of it back in the old country, but none of our visits to the US locations have been worthwhile.

My city is generally a great food town, but we don't have a strong sandwich scene. I got hooked on Italian sandwiches when I used to travel to PA and NJ a lot for work. I no longer do that. Jimmy Johns does my favorite Italian sub in town, so I eat there every few months.
