Did you get anything guitar-related for Christmas?

I didnt get anything guitar related. We didnt really buy much for us at all. Tried to make it nice for our daughter though. Plus, I had sold my bike and bought a bunch of stuff including a drum machine and Boss GT-6 although I am considering selling it.

My wife would prefer it if I sold some shit instead. My first choice was a MIDI controller KB, but I cancelled that and got some Chinese therapeutic massage instead, which sounds kinda tree-huggy and ghey, but was actually quite painful.

sweet!

Nice. You'll have to write a review once you've put it through its paces.

I'll try but I ain't two great with werds :embarrassed: I've only played it about an hour so far and I'm heading out in about an hour for a couple days camping. I'll try when I get back.

The cool thing about those blackheart amps is that if you don't like the stock sound there are a million mods and parts on the net to change it.

So far I really like it and My brother has the 1w version which I've played. Nice to know there's lots of mods out though.

I bought another neoprene strap and schaller strap locks, a set of nylon strings, and then added this to the order:

My wife got me a 2-year subscription to Guitar Techniques magazine, which is the only English-language guitar magazine that appeals to me. All American guitar magazines have descended into a pit of suck.

I also got a book of tunes for mandolin.

I used to get that, but I let my subscription lapse. It is a fine example of what a guitar magazine should be. Loaded with lessons, real reviews, and music....and not so many crappy interviews like the US mags. I may have to start getting that mag again.

That is a good one.

I still get Guitar World and Guitar Player because I bought long subscriptions for the studio and GW still has songs in it. Some months I find things to read and some I don't

I have a few issues of Guitar Techniques and I really should have a subscription to that as well....

Nothing guitar related. My wife's son got me a vegetarian cookbook. My wife then told me that he was going to get me the Grateful Dead Monopoly game but she told him I wouldn't want it. I had only shown it to her in a catalog several times - she forgot.
